The Endowment Fund Popojedem supports Daniel and other blacksmiths who are facing the long-term consequences of serious injuries and paralysis. We focus on practical assistance that makes everyday life and the recovery process easier, including funding for rehabilitation aids, assistive equipment, and essential daily needs.

We also support families and caregivers, who are an inseparable part of this journey, and contribute to research and initiatives that can improve treatment outcomes and help injured craftsmen return to an active and meaningful life.

Your trust and your donation help bring about real change: better access to care, greater independence, and new opportunities for recovery. Thank you for standing alongside those who continue to move forward despite life-changing challenges.

Your support is administered by the endowment fund and, unless you choose a specific purpose, is directed to where it is currently needed most.

Support for individuals is allocated by the foundation based on current needs; donors cannot select a specific person at this stage.

Do 100% of donated funds reach their intended purpose? In most cases yes, but not entirely. Payment gateways and banks charge processing fees.

At the same time, the endowment fund must cover basic operating costs and support its long-term mission. For this reason, 8% of each donation is used for the fund’s operations and general activities.

At present, the fund does not operate an open system for submitting individual applications for support. Our capacities, financial resources, and organizational infrastructure are still limited.

We provide support to individuals and to recovery-focused initiatives selected in cooperation with our founding circle of craftsmen and based on decisions of the fund’s board of trustees. This approach allows us to provide assistance in a targeted and responsible manner, and at a scale we are able to sustain over the long term.

In the future, we do not rule out establishing an open application system. Any changes will be communicated on these pages.
